*Light-Middleweight                    As a necessity, allowing for the recognition of only one champ at a time will
*Welterweight                               mean that some past greats, like Khaosai Galaxy or Matthew Saad
*Light-Welterweight                     Muhammad do not appear on these pages. This is not a slight against them,
*Lightweight                                  merely recognition that their spectacular achievements fall outside the realms
*Super-Featherweight                  of linear heritage, much as those of Roy Jones do today.

*Super-Bantamweight                  Remember, the ultimate goal of this site is to ensure that incidents of this type

*Flyweight                                     This section is a work in progress, and as such not all details are finalised. All
*Light-Flyweight                           stoppage victories are recorded as ko's, except for retirement (ret.) defeats.
*Strawweight                                 Full allocation of relevant details will occur in time but this method will suffice                                                        for now, indicating as it does, that one fighter was beaten beyond the point of
                                                       endurance.

An asterisk ( * ), indicates a vacant title bout and all contests are in the U.S. unless stated otherwise. Please click on the relevant weight division for full details.

NOTE :- In instances where a title has become vacant, I've made every effort to nominate the most suitable fight to fill the void. I'm pretty happy with the results. Please let me have your opinions.
